About Womens Shelter Armidale
The Womens Shelter Armidale provides crisis accommodation and transitional housing to women and their families. They also provide a range of therapeutic groups that aim to provide women with the right tools to face and overcome their trauma.
The Womens Shelter Armidale delivers specialist services for children and young people who have lived with domestic violence helping them to understand and recognise they are victims of domestic violence. They reach out to women in our community who are at risk and may not know where they can get help, connecting them with people and services who can assist. The Womens Shelter Armidale plays an important role educating the community, facilitating early intervention and prevention programs in schools and youth centres.
The Womens Shelter operates throughout Armidale, Guyra, Uralla and Walcha.
