HUB PROVIDERS

Serving Armidale for over 50 years, the Armidale Neighbourhood Centre provides support and assistance to all community members.

As a Community Support Hub lead partner, we provide front of house services, reception and concierge to all community members who visit us and will continue to deliver our programs and services.

The Armidale Neighbourhood Centre is available at the Community Support Hub Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Homes North provides secure, appropriate and affordable housing solutions for people on low incomes. Our clients are more likely to face some form of disadvantage which prevents them from gaining access to or maintaining a tenancy. Homes North also helps community members who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access housing.

In addition to delivering safe and secure homes, we help our clients stabilise their lives, maintain their tenancies, and engage with their communities. To help support our clients Homes North develops and maintains partnerships with local, regional and national service providers, both not-for-profit and Government. These collaborative relationships help our clients sustain stable housing.

The Womens Shelter Armidale provides crisis accommodation and transitional housing to women and their families. They also provide a range of therapeutic groups that aim to provide women with the right tools to face and overcome their trauma.

The Womens Shelter Armidale also provides specialist services for children and young people who have lived with domestic violence, reaching out to women who are at risk and may not know where they can help help. The Womens Shelter Armidale facilitates early intervention and prevention programs in schools and youth centres.

Womens Shelter Armidale Children and Young Persons Specialist Program is available Tuesday to Friday at the Community Support Hub.
